¿Es el himno de A State Of Trance 700 realmente Trance?

Cierto es que este asunto está muy manido ya. Es por esto que dentro de nuestra web lo situamos en la categoría de Opinión. Con todo, no pretendemos tanto dar nuestra opinión, como escuchar (para el caso, leer vuestros comentarios a este artículo) la opinión de nuestros lectores y lectoras. Después de haber sonado de manera oficial en el programa 690 de A State Of Trance, y siendo confirmado por el propio Armin van Buuren, el asunto quedaba aclarado. Y es que, entre la confusión de las actuaciones previas del artista holandés, rondaba el rumor de que el tema de Jorn Van Deynhoven llamado "Freaks" sería el próximo Anthem del 700 aniversario del radioshow ASOT (y en opinión de muchos por lo que hemos visto, ojalá hubiera sido así). Cosa que a priori no parecía tener mucho sentido, teniendo en cuenta que el himno del 650 durante este año, ha sido del mismo artista.

 

Si nos vamos a la página de Soundcloud del de Leiden, los comentarios sobre el llamado "Together (In A State Of Trance)" (y sí, este es el nombre del anthem de este año), están en estos momentos cerca de alcanzar el medio millar. El volumen de opiniones desfavorables es abiertamente dilatado frente a las favorables (muchos volviendo al interminable debate de lo que es y lo que deja de ser Trance). En lo que es una opinión personal de un servidor, en los últimos años, los anthems que han sido votados y escogidos por la audiencia, son de mayor calidad que algunos de los recientes de cosecha propia (además de referirme a este "Together (In A State Of Trance)", estamos hablando de "Armin van Buuren & Markus Schulz - The Expedition (A State Of Trance 600 Anthem)"). Remontándonos al ASOT 550 con el "elegido" "W&W - Invasion (ASOT 550 Anthem)", hubo cierta controversia igualmente, sobre si, en lugar de éste, debería haber sido himno el tema de Sebastian Brandt, (Mana), el de Dj ECO (A Million Sounds, A Thousand Smiles), el de Shogun (550), el de Andrew Rayel (550 Senta), o el ya no tan tenido en cuenta "ASOT 550 Anthem" de Alpha Duo. De lo que sí se ha acusado a algunos de estos temas (que no al de W&W), es de carecer de la fuerza suficiente como para llegar a ser el tema oficial de un aniversario ASOT. Y aquí es cuando nos acordamos del de este año... Dicen que las comparaciones son odiosas; bueno, nada como recordar los himnos de tiempos pasados. Juzguen ustedes mismos.

Electronic Family 2013 sin Armin van Buuren

Destacada es este año la ausencia del aclamado productor y deejay de Leiden. Después de ser cabeza de cartel para las ediciones de 2011 y 2012, para este 2013 no será el protagonista en Electronic Family. El festival se desarrollará el próximo 20 de julio en el parque Amsterdamse Bos, cerca de Amstedam, en Holanda. En horario de 11 de la mañana a la medianoche, más de 30 artistas se repartirán en un total de 4 escenarios (duplicando los 2 que teníamos en 2012), destacando la incorporación del escenario Global Grooves, y de un escenario en exclusiva para PT Events (Grotesque).

Electronic Family 2013

Saturday 20 July, the Amsterdamse Bos near Amsterdam, Holland. A tight blue sky, friendly people around you. A beer in your hand, or a wine. A beautifully divided and wonderfully decorated field, no queues in sight. While people share looks on the vivacious melodies of the world’s most wanted artists in trance music the sense of unity at Electronic Family comes up again. It’s that wellknown unanimous feeling on the dancefloor or (in this case) the grass of the Amsterdamse Bos.
