SOLARSTONE @ THE GALLERY BOAT PARTY - ALL HANDS ON DECKS (12-05-2017) - LONDON

Solaris International Episode #401

Welcome to Episode #401 which comes from Miami where I am kicking back for a week while the Winter Music Conference takes place. 2 world exclusives in the show this week, one from Victor Dinaire & Bissen - a dark but melodic trance workout, and also a fabulous cheeky bootleg by Gal Abutbul which I think you will love. Bryan Kearney pops in to say hello & also I have the winner of the competition to win an ultra-rare Acetate - plus - another competition to win 2 tickets to our Pure Trance party in Miami this weekend. It's all going off! See you next week. Rich Ss.

Solaris International Episode #400

Welcome to Episode #400! It seems a bit surreal to have recorded such a huge number of shows over the past 7 or 8 years, but the best thing is that I enjoy producing the show more now than ever; the importance having a connection with my fans like this cannot be understated & it always heartens me when people approach me on tour and say how much they enjoy it! Rather than submit to the pyrotechnics and day-long episodes etc I prefer to just keep it on the down-low and just focus on what is really important - a solid show full of great music. So there are two world exclusives this week, one of which is the amazing 2014 update by Ultimate of Vadim Zhukov's 2006 classic 'Moscow Morning' - if you like trance you will love this. The other is a very clever 'mashup' of sorts, one half of which being my Bladerunner remix! Rich Ss.

Solaris International #398

Welcome to Episode #398. OK so I am feeling horribly rough at the time of writing this, hopefully this doesn't come through on the show itself - this is what happens when you have kids, they bring home all sorts of colds & bugs from school to say thankyou. Anyway - thanks all who came out to Cream in Liverpool last weekend, the club was heaving and I think we can call it a success. This weekend it is Digital Society's 7th birthday on Friday in Leeds where I'm hosting the Pure Trance room, and the following say I am Orkidea's guest at the Waterpark event in Finland - two very different gigs!c In this weeks show watch out for a slab of brilliance from Basil O'Glue and another from James Allan - which is my Bgi Tune as it happen. Also Chris Metcalfe has excelled himself with his remix of 'Fiero' by Ronski Speed. I'm having an early night - catch you next week. Rich ss.

Welcome to Episode #392! I have an absolutely brilliant Progressive Selection for you in this week's show, I was amazed to hear so many wicked deep tracks in my promo box at one time, but the standout one for me is the amazing 'Airflow' by Agressor & Ivan Nikuse, it really is a thing of beauty. Another slab of brilliance is Trent McDermot's debut on Molecule 'For What It's Worth' - it's taken from a 2 track E.P forthcoming in a couple of weeks - worth seeking out. I've dug out one of my favourite Ss tracks from the archive for you this week - '4Ever', it's taken from my 2008 'Rain Stars Eternal' album. Wrapping up the show is a wonderful acoustic version of 'Sun & Moon' by Above & Beyond, this track shows just why the A&B boys are one step ahead of most other producer combos in the scene, it is majestic. Rich Ss.

Welcome to Episode #391! Extremely happy this week to announce my brand new label 'Pure Trance Recordings'. It's the natural next step in giving this music a platform, and the first release (which is also my Big Tune this week) is the wonderful 'Howl At The Moon' by Driftmoon, featuring the Original Mix and also my own Solarstone Retouch which was included on the recent compilation 'Pure Trance 2'. I've got some great music lined up on the label so watch this space! Other highlights in Episode #391 include Gai Barone's stunning deep prog trance 'Warmup' mix of Ruben De Rond's 'They Are Not You. Gai is one of my favourite producers at the moment & this remix shows exactly why with its rolling bassline and liberal sprinklings of arpeggios, I think it is divine. Almar has done a lovely gentle remix of Liam Wilson's brilliant 'Raindrop' (a former Big Tune if I remember correctly) and Alan Morris has come up with the good on his remix of 'Nova 7' by Tyas & Porter. See you next week! Rich Ss

Welcome to Episode •390 - the first show of 2014. I hope you had a fabulous Xmas and New Year, and are ready for all that the upcoming year has in store for us! I'm kicking off this year with a kicking show, including brilliant new tracks from Woody van Eyden (a very nice chap and this week's Featured Artist), Josh Ferrin and Gai Barone, plus my big tune comes from Tom Colontonio who has created an uplifting vocal trance record with an enormous breakdown that manages to stay the right side of the cheese-line - it really is fantastic! I discovered the wonderful Claire Boucher aka Grimes over Xmas so her latest single 'Genesis' features as my #INTKOTWUPBWLIA track this week - check out the rather unsettling video on youtube if you get a chance, it's well worth it. Also featuring in the show is the debut from Lea Hunter, an up and coming producer with plenty of promise his single 'Imperial' is the new one on my Solaris label - hope you like it. Hope you enjoy the show, see you next week!

This is the last Si of 2013 (contrary to my announcement last week!) so I hope you guys all have a fabulous Xmas and New Year, and I shall see you next year. Rich Ss.

Solaris International #383

Welcome to Episode #383. After having a week off I am back with an all new selection of quality tunes! Cream of the crop is my Big tune - a wicked new mix of a briliant track from the Pure Trance 2 compilation courtesy of Giuseppe Ottaviani. You can get your hands on the album via the PureTrance.com website. I've just returned from a fabulous PureTrance party at Exchange in LA - huge thankyou's to everybody who came out and partied with us on Friday night! This Friday I am at Rong in Manchester, hope to see you there! Another highlight of this week's show is John o'Callaghan's awesome cheeky bootleg of Kate Bush's 'A Womans Work' - dont' miss it!
